Tophiachu Family Tragedy: Popular TikToker brother Donald Slydell died, mom injured in deadly Albuquerque carjacking-crash
Tophiachu Shooting – Tophia Slydell, widely known as Tophiachu or simply Tophia, tragically lost her younger brother, Donald Slydell, in a violent incident early Tuesday morning in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Details of the Shooting
According to Albuquerque Police Department (APD) spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos, the suspect fled toward Montgomery Boulevard in a stolen vehicle before crashing into a Jeep near Marla NE. Upon realizing there were injured and deceased individuals inside the stolen car, the Jeep’s driver panicked and called for help.
A security guard from a nearby apartment complex witnessed the chaos and intervened. In an attempt to protect the Jeep’s driver, the guard shot and killed the suspect, bringing the violent series of events to an end.
“He intervened. And my understanding is, you know, the person that was in the Jeep, the other victim, felt like the security guard saved his life,” said Gallegos.
